Redstone@Home is currently seeking a Social Worker/ Volunteer Coordinator to work part time, variable shifts and hours servicing our clients in Fayette County.

What will I do as an employee with Redstone?

As a Social Worker/Volunteer Coordinator, supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain volunteer orientation program
  • Recruits, educates and selects volunteers
  • Supervise and evaluate volunteers in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Fulfills the responsibility as the Clinical Medical Social Worker, as assigned, for hospice, home health and home care clients. Completes documentation in the appropriate software system for clinical and billing record keeping timely.

What do I need for this role with Redstone?

  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work required, Masters in Social Work preferred
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Two years (or more) experience in a healthcare setting
  • Hospice and/or volunteer experience preferred
